Analytics
by Hadrien
With the new page dedicated to analytics, both self-published authors and public domain contributors can keep track of several key figures about their books.
Key features:
- track downloads for the last 30 days
- pie chart for formats and clients
- full list of users with the book in their favorites or bookshelf
Analytics for downloads and formats/clients are updated on a daily basis while the list of favorites/in bookshelf should be almost real-time.
To access the analytics, click on
Analytics in the upper right-corner of the page for your book.

Hi,
first, congrats to your new mobile site design!
I use Opera Mini 4.2 and Nokia mobile phone, so far, I could download _any_ (I mean all) ePub title I wanted. The only exception are the comics, say Weird Western # 1, from which I get just the title (0.1 kB file) and an info that file is empty or so. Does it mean that these \comics\ files are stored for a limited time, or there’s something rotten in the kingdom of my browser?
Thank you for any reaction.
Sincerely, Tadmad
PS. Your epub formatting is the best!
Most likely a bug with your browser, I’ve just tried the file that you mention and it works perfectly.
Analytics are great! Thank you so much. It is gratifying to see downloads going around the world. Encouraging to wonder who is reading my stuff in India or Egypt or Singapore or China or Norway, etc. Excellent work!
Hello Hadrien!
It looks like you are really spearheading a revolution in the world of books, and I wish you continued success.
I had 2 quick questions.
1. How can we put images into our ebooks for epub?
2. My profile says I have 27 downloads, but I when I click on the Analytics icon, it says, “No downloads to display yet, come back in a few hours !”
I have been a feedbooks user for about 12 hours by the way.
Thanks,
Jeff
We don’t support images in ebooks yet, but we’ll add this feature this summer. Supporting images in multiple formats takes some efforts and we really want to do it right.
Analytics are usually available roughly a day after you publish your book. Try again tomorrow morning and it should work.
Thanks!
Merci
Anthony
Reviewing the progress made over the year and feel that the Analytics feature is worth a mention.. The data accessible from it are so valuable, and presented across a well thought out spectrum. The graphics are perfect too. Many thanks. The thought and energy going into the development of this site and the artistic content uploaded promises that 2011 will be a progressive year.
