The nominations for the 2012 Los Angeles Time Book Prize were announced this week.
In the Fiction category, past winners include such famous authors as Jennifer Egan, Margaret Atwood and Ian McEwan.
This year, The Middlesteins by Jami Attenberg was nominated for the 2012 Los Angeles Times Book Prize, along with Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk by Ben Fountain, Arcadia by Lauren Groff, Magnificence by Lydia Millet and Telegraph Avenue by Michael Chabon.
